No I built mine from scratch, I just ordered the straight tubing and bent it all up and welded it all. The guy doing Tims is just installing a Wolfe front half to bring it from the 8 to a 10 point. If I had a Tig welder I would be doing Tims as well... Damned NHRA Rules... You know whats funny is they weld Chromoly with MIG welders all the time in large comercial applications, if they had to weld it with a TIG they would be there forever! A miged welded Chromoly tube Vs a Tig welded Chromoly tube is just as strong its just that there is less heat pushed into the tube by the TIG welded proccess.

Not really.

1)I know he got his window net kit, and test fitted it. I think to be able to run duo in his RR stuff, he'll be buying another kit to be legal.

2) He's working on the final touches of a few things that need to be powder coated. I would think all Saturday this coming week, we'll be powdercoating pieces for his, mine, and my dads '56

3) The engine bay is 90% complete with all the fab work. The radiator mount setup is done, minus some minor touch up(I'll let him provide the update/pics on that).

4) Next up on Tater's is get the engine bay finishedd up with body filler to clean up all the work we did, then paint the engine bay.

5) I'd be willing to bet with his new found TIG skills, we'll be re-doing his charge piping...haha

Cool! I was going to be out there this comming weekend but plans changed, or the VA changed my plans with a Saturday appointment. I may come out after my VA stuff.

Does he have any yellow? I'm thinking about doing my stock calipers in Yellow. Not real sure yet though. I'll ask in my build thread what you guys think.

No, I don't think he has any yellow. I think we were looking for it to do the calipers on my mom's car, and couldn't find it.

I wonder how hard it would be to match the Millennium Yellow

Probably not too bad. it's got enough colors local that it will be hard to notice if it's a little off
